2009
The first question was asked for students who wanted to do more than memorize — who wanted to run experiments, form hypotheses, and build something that hadn't existed before. ISPO gave Indonesia's young researchers their arena.
2013
Four years later, the same question was asked for a different student — the one who writes beautifully, paints boldly, or speaks with power. Indonesia's artistic and linguistic talent deserved the same recognition as any mathematician or scientist.
2019
Mathematics is the language of problem-solving — and Indonesia had millions of students who spoke it fluently with nowhere to compete. EMC was built to reach all of them: 38 provinces, 100+ Test Centers, one level playing field from Sabang to Merauke.
2022
The best Indonesian students were ready for the world. The question was whether the world was ready for them. Komodo International Math Competition was the answer — bringing students from 40+ countries to compete, and bringing Indonesia's finest to a global stage in Bali.
2025
